About Dan

Dan Harrison is a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. Growing up immersed in music of all kinds outside Philadelphia, he was drawn to country music and the sounds of the south while attending college at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. After graduating, he made his way to Nashville.

Since moving to Music City, Dan has shared the stage with acts such as Mitchell Tenpenny and Steve Moakler, and earned cuts with artists like Adair’s Run, Todd Cameron, Belles, Clayton Shay, Carson Beyer, and more. One of his cuts, the recent viral TikTok song “All Hat No Cowboy” by Belles, is currently at over 4 million views on TikTok. He was also awarded the 2021 ASCAP Jay Gorney Award, and the 2022 Bluebird Golden Pick for his song, “Friendly Fire”, which highlights the mental health issues facing our military veterans. He is also the recipient of the 2023 ASCAP Harold Adamson Lyric Award – Country Divison.

Dan’s music has been featured on
Spotify’s New Boots and Wild Country, among many other editorial playlists across DSP’s. His artists projects have accumulated over 1.5 million streams across platforms thus far. His first EP is slated for release in late 2023.

By any metric, it’s clear that Dan is making a name for himself as both an artist and writer in Music City, offering a fresh and unique perspective and sound to country music, with a momentum that continues to grow.
